We are an Americana brother duo. Our parents are both from Chicago but we were both born in Southern California. Our mom taught second grade but is now retired and our dad is an actor singer dancer. We’d spend the school years with our mom and every summer we’d travel with our father with whatever musical or play he was performing in. For so much of our childhood, our dad was playing Danny Zuko in the musical Grease. We spent formative years of our childhood backstage as audiences would celebrate the iconic era of the birth of Rock n' Roll, through the time capsule of Grease. The spark we both felt from the entertainment lifestyle from our dad paired with the discipline and love of learning our mother instilled in us as an educator set us on our current path as brothers and musicians.
Our focus as brothers is directly on the tradition of Blood Harmony, (family singing together) in the roots of Rock n' Roll. We know our identity as music appreciators is profoundly interwoven with these fading harmonies of the past, so we feel it is imperative to keep the old music alive through our own spirits as we continue to write and perform our original material. Our debut record will be released in 2022.
